Who we are
We are a small, up-and-coming mom-and-pop brand on a mission to represent the underdogs and the disenfranchised. Inspired by the raw energy of extreme music scenes, we aim to create a brand that resonates with all of us misfits. We believe that even the everyday headbanger deserves to feel at home in the fitness world while rocking a logo that’s just as fitting at a concert.
Our founder, Art Garcia, grew up in the vibrant heart of Northeast Los Angeles. Surrounded by the challenges of gang life, Art found his escape in music, immersing himself in L.A.’s backyard music scene. Going to gigs, he drew inspiration from the patches, band shirts, and iconic rock apparel that would one day influence this brand.
Though he didn’t fit the mold of a typical athlete, Art participated in sports like football, rugby, and wrestling, carving out his own space in a world where he often felt like an outsider. Years later, after neglecting his health, he began a journey to reclaim his fitness. However, he noticed that many gym logos that mimicked death metal and black metal styles felt disconnected from the authenticity of the music and the people who love it.
Together with his wife and co-founder Ashley, Art decided to create something that truly spoke to rockers—men and women alike. Our mission is to help people rediscover the energy and youthfulness of being physically active while staying true to who they are at their core.
